Author Guideline
Author Guideline
- The journal invites scholars and experts working in all dicipline in islamic studies or others. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review of editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or lenght will be rejected without review.
- Articles should be written in Bahasa Indonesia, English, or Arabic between approximately 6.000-7.000 words including text, all tables and figures, note, references, and appendices intended for publication. All submissions must include 200 words abstract and 5 keywords. Quotations, passages, and words in local or foreign languages should be translated into main language used.
- The body of articles consist of Title, Full Name of the Author, Affiliation, Abstract, Keyword, Introduction, Description, Conclusion, Bibliography, and Short resume of author and contact detail. The title must be clear, precise and no more than 14 words.
- The author does not need to include the academic title.
- The introduction contains background of the problem, hypothesis (if any), the purposes of research, introductory refer to some literature which is the basis or reason for the study; also includes front line of current knowledge.
- In the CONCLUSION it is advised to mention the recommendation or suggestion.
- The paper will be reviewed and edited without changing any substantial contents
- Bibliographical reference must be noted in body note and bibliography according Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (author-date).
- Article must use journal templates.
- Articles recommended using applications such as Mendeley and Zotero to facilitate writing references.
- Articles submitted must follow the transliteration format used by ISSUE. Authors can refer to the following transliteration.
SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript (along with the substance) has not been published and is not in the process of publication in other journals or media.
- The manuscript follows the ISSUE writing style/format and references as indicated in the "author guidelines", which is contained in the section "about the journal"
- All references and citations follow the format of ISSUE.
- All citations (citations) are mentioned in the reference section (Use Mandeley or Zetero)
- Manuscripts submitted using Microsoft Word file format (.doc or .docx)
- Manuscript submitted has followed the rules in the policy of "blind review," in which the author's name and identifying information associated with the author has been omitted from the manuscript.
